ScreenVue is the result of a joint venture and partnership between Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC).

ScreenVue first launched in 2003 as a service of CVLI. The CVLI Church Video License provides legal coverage for churches and for other ministry organizations to show DVDs, Blu-rays, digital, movie downloads and streams of motion pictures. Each organization needs to be specifically covered. Coverage includes playing just a few seconds of a movie all the way up to showing the full-length feature.

Each *Total Producer Church Video License* (or any *Church Video Licence* globally) comes with free ScreenVue Vault access.

The ScreenVue Vault offers 14,000+ Scene Ideas, Views and Downloads from a variety of movies and resources.

### CCLI

Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.

Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.

For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for 600,000+ songs and 7,000+ publishers and song owners. Currently, global churches are using 600,000+ CCLI licenses.

### CVLI

From a unique partnership between Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), Christian Video Licensing International (CVLI) and the Church Video License was formed in 2001.

The Church Video License provides churches with legal coverage to show all, or any portion of, thousands of movie titles from a number of movie producers, including all the major studios. Currently, the titles from 3,000+ producers are represented by the Church Video License, including the titles that contain all the scenes that are part of the ScreenVue Vault.

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC) was founded in 1986 by former MGM executives and an MPAA attorney. Their goal was to develop a process to help the public leverage the work of the creative community without infringing on copyright.

## How We Use Cookies

__"Where can I find my Access Key to sign-in with?"__
- Every Church Video Licence globally and every *Total Producer Church Video License* (or *Standard CVLI Video License*) in the USA comes with FREE access to the ScreenVue Vault, which is unlocked with your Access Key. Your Access Key will be included in the monthly CVL update emails you receive. If you can't find your Key, please email us at: [support@screenvue.com ](mailto:support@screenvue.com "support@screenvue.com")

__"Why won't my Access Key work?"__
- The usual reason for the Access Key not to work (and a footer error message to appear) is that something is missing from the sign-in protocol.
- Enter the *Email address* associated with your Church Video License (or CCLI account).
- Enter the *Access Key* found in your last CVL update email (exactly, with no spaces).
- Select the *Terms of Use* and a *Keeping in Touch* option.
- You should be in! If you have done all this and still have a problem, please let us know and we'll dig further.

__"In the USA, why don't I have access as a CVL Family Values Package member?"__
- The *CVL Family Values Package* offers only 65+ studios and producers, and does not include any major/minor Hollywood studios - and does not come with ScreenVue Vault access. 
- The *CVL Total Producer Package* offers 4,000+ studios and producers, including every major Hollywood studio and most of the major/minors, and comes with complimentary access to the new ScreenVue Vault: unlocked with a provided Access Key.

__"What is the difference between Scene Ideas, Scene Views, and Scene Downloads?"__
- The ScreenVue Vault offers THREE different types of Scenes:

__"What are the restrictions for streaming our service and including a movie scene? "__
- For churches that stream their services and want to include any part of a movie (the entire film or just a scene), the Church Video License terms do not cover streaming a movie scene - even if used in a sermon - over the internet to the general public.
- However, it is permissible to live stream a movie scene inside the facility as long as it is a closed-stream (not accessed publicly).

A year after Dan's death (see clip # CV11333), Becky is still deep in her grief.  Shiloh arrives at her apartment and invites her to go climbing.  At first, Becky refuses.  She hasn't been climbing since Dan's accident.  But Shiloh isn't taking no for an answer.  She knows Becky is in a bad place and hates the thought of her being alone and afraid.  Shiloh: "If you don't confront your fears, you are always going to be afraid."


Shiloh is trapped partway down the antenna, hanging on by a rope.  While Becky pulls her up, Shiloh climbs, trying to make it back to the platform.  The effort is a strain on both girls as they reach the limits of their strength.  Just before Shiloh can reach the ladder, she slips, falling backward the length of the rope.  Terrified, Becky slowly looks over the edge of the platform.  Shiloh is dangling again from the rope, her hands badly wounded.  Now it is up to Becky to pull her all the way to safety.  Screaming in effort, Becky uses all of her strength to pull the helpless Shiloh all the way back to the platform.

Dan, Becky, and Shiloh are climbing up a perpendicular rock face.  Although the climb is dangerous, the three are experienced and banter back and forth as they climb.  Dan, who is roped to Becky, puts his hand in a hole in the rock to attach his clip.  Suddenly, a bird flies out of the hole directly into Dan's face.  Startled, he falls backward several dozen feet, jerking to a stop when he reaches the end of the rope.  Dan is now dangling upside-down over open space.  The rope is too short to allow him to reach the rock.  Becky and Shiloh watch, terrified, as Dan tries to swing himself back towards the rock.  Becky releases her own rope so Dan can have an additional length.  But it isn't enough.  Dan's clip, no longer able to bear his full weight, works its way out of the rock.  Dan falls.  Becky screams as she watches her husband disappear.  (Caution: traumatic scene)


Becky and Shiloh have climbed almost all the way to the top of the tower.  They have reached the point where they must use the external ladder, which will subject them to much stronger winds and force them to leave the somewhat sheltered tower framework.  Shiloh goes first, telling Becky not to panic.  As Shiloh mounts the platform, she disappears from Becky's sight.  Becky immediately panics.  Shiloh continually encourages her friend to keep climbing and soon Becky's head and shoulders have crested the platform.  The girls are at a dizzying height and they still have 200 more feet to climb.  Becky, squeezing her eyes tight: "I can't!"  Hunter, firmly: "Yes, you can!  Just look up and only up!  You're doing great!  You got this!"  Becky takes a deep breath and continues to climb.

Becky and Shiloh are at the top of the TV tower, perched on a platform only a few feet wide.  The desert floor is thousands of feet below them and they prepare themselves for the descent down the antenna.  Shiloh ropes herself to the pole and Becky starts to climb over the lip of the platform and back onto the ladder.  Becky is clearly terrified, but she works her way down until she has all of her weight on the ladder.  But before she can climb very far, the last of the rusty bolts holding the ladder to the upper portion of the antenna falls away.  To Becky's horror, the ladder begins to peel off the antenna.  Becky falls backwards with it, trying to hang on.  Soon, she loses her grip and falls the length of her rope.  Only Shiloh and the rope are keeping Becky from falling to her death.


When Becky asks Shiloh why she takes so many risks in life, Shiloh tells her it is because of the death of their friend Dan.  Shiloh: "It just made me realize that life is fleeting.  And I want to spread that message…that life is short, too short, so you gotta use every moment.  You have to do something that makes you feel alive."


Shiloh and Becky are about to climb the tallest TV tower in the United States.  Shiloh drives her truck towards the tower while recording a video on her phone for her social media account.  Focused on her video, Shiloh fails to notice a semi truck coming from the left.  Shiloh, still recording: "Don't worry, Becky C, because you're safe with - -"  Just then, the truck blares its horn, startling Shiloh into slamming on her brakes.  She barely misses hitting the truck.  She and Becky sit, stunned, trying to catch their breath as they realized what a near miss they had.
