CCLI
Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) was established in 1988 to provide churches with simple, affordable solutions to complex copyright issues. CCLI helps churches maintain their integrity while giving them the freedom to worship expressively and spontaneously.
Churches often face copyright infringement issues in two areas: 1) copying music without permission, and 2) showing movies without authorization.
For copying music to assist with congregational singing, the Church Copyright License provides blanket coverage for over 200,000 songs and over 2,500 publishers and song owners. Currently, almost 150,000 churches across North America are Church Copyright License holders.
